‘Revolutions on the Surface of the Earth’ es una sesión de escucha que reúne el trabajo de 12 artistas que abordan de forma crítica diversos territorios, historias materiales y ecosistemas de distintos lugares del planeta, investigando el tiempo profundo, el clima y la extracción.
Con las investigaciones sonoras de Ana Hernández, Anahita Norouzi, Bárbara Foulkes, Carlos Edelmiro, Concepción Huerta, Erika Loana (Atlas Materia Prima), Emilija Skarnulyte, Hanae Utamura, Lorena Mal, Long Pan, Perla Mata y Sofia Acosta.

About Public Studio
This inititive takes place within the framework of the Public Studio, a platform allowing the public to engage with the artistic processes, works-in-progress, and spontatenous experimentations of the Jan van Eyck participants. Rather than presenting works as finished, the Public Studio foregrounds process, testing, and transformation, allowing artistic practices to remain open and responsive to their institutional, social, and public contexts. It invites participants to consider public encounter as part of the artistic process itself: something that can shape research, test ideas, generate feedback, and open new directions.
